Chris has been helping people collaboratively solve their family law issues since 2001, when this revolutionary negotiation concept came to Ottawa. He has settled more than 50 cases successfully.  Chris has the experience and the confidence to guide you though this rewarding but challenging negotiation model.  He is particularly skilled in building trust and ensuring that complex and delicate matters are given the attention necessary to create acceptable and durable resolutions.

Christopher is a leader and pioneer in the collaborative movement in Ontario, and is one of the most experienced practitioners in Eastern Ontario.  Chris has been actively settling cases collaboratively since 2001. He spent two years as President of the local practice group (The Collaborative Law Network) and is currently Past-President of the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation, representing 550 collaborative professionals across Ontario.  Chris also built and taught the first law school course in collaborative family law at University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2007, and continues to teach the next generation of lawyers in this exciting and revolutionary settlement process.
